Plur just grabbed a wooden stick from the sticks.
>
Plur takes some wooden sticks and places them in the brazier. Using two of the smaller pieces, he rubs them until a tiny flame bursts out. Placing the burning twigs among the prepared wood, he blows gently on them until the flames spread and grow.
>
The fire crackles and flames jump as a warm glow settles in on you.
>put my stick in braz
I could not find what you were referring to.
>whisp plur what's the damn verb for that
You quietly whisper to Plur, "What's the damn verb for that."
>
Michiko says, "Very homey."
>
Plur whispers, "Get stick, rub my stick."
>
Michiko says, "I like it."
>
Michiko grins.
>
Plur says, "And now..."
>
Dredroberts says, "We should have designed a "meteor room" alas."
>
Dredroberts snickers.
>rub my stick
You toss the wooden stick onto the fire and watch the flames rise higher as they feed on the fuel.
>
Plur says, "The moment we've all been waitin' for..."
>
Plur laughs at Dredroberts!
>
Plur points at a candlelit hallway.
>
Great Lord Plur's group just went through a candlelit hallway.
[Moonshine Manor, Plur's Pub]
Finely dressed elven maidens serve patrons seated at small wooden tables pushed against the walls. Padded brass stools surround a massive circular oak bar where barrels and casks of spirits are protectively guarded by a black-clad halfling barkeep. A derelict table occupies the dimly lit corner to the southeast opposite a candlelit hallway to the west, while a heavy cedar double door leads outside. You also see a large gold-banded bin.

Obvious exits: none
>
Michiko asks, "Meteor room?"
>whisp plur You're such a dirty boy.
You quietly whisper to Plur, "You're such a dirty boy."
>
* Vant just bit the dust!
>'Ahh, here it is!
You exclaim, "Ahh, here it is!"
>
Plur whispers, "Hehehe."
>
Michiko pours herself a goblet of chilled plum wine.
>
Plur points at a circular oak bar.

>
Plur nods.

A pained expression crosses Dredroberts's face.
>
Dredroberts grins.
>
Michiko says, "Let's see..."
>
Plur gobbles down his ham and cheese sandwich in one enormous bite.
>
Plur points at a stained oak wall.
>
Dredroberts helps himself to a salver of rare gak steak.
>
Plur points at a yellowed note on a stained oak wall.
>
Plur points at some padded brass stools.
>
Dredroberts drools.
>
Plur cackles!
>look note
>
Yellowed edges curl inward around the stiletto binding the note to the wall, nearly hiding the hastily written message.
There appears to be something written on it.
>read note
In the Common language, it reads:
I'll return the darts later, I promise! --Ishiyama--

Uh huh.
Lightyears
dont call him naughty. he gets soy sauce all over the place.
Pinky
oh my god! Hahahahaha!

Plur's Pub lives within the hallowed walls of Moonshine Manor!

Bring the wenches!
Liddasee
We're the second PRO to have a building, first in Landing. =P

And a fishing dock! Plur made me give up my tackle. <scowl> I'm surprised I even had any, though.
Pinky
/dance

you know that manor north of the north gate. Hearthglen or something. Well they have their dartboard in there with the darts that you can't take out of the room. Well I found out long ago that you could Symbol of Return while holding the darts and ninja them from the room so nobody could play darts. Mwa ha ha ha!

Did Plur build the stage with the vertical pole like I asked him to? You know, so the serving wenches can put on theatrical performances and stuff.

And the chairs from Wayside. Did he steal the chairs from Wayside? The ones with our buttgrooves already imbedded in them. They're really comfy you know.
Keras
what game are you guys talking about?

Or is this just RP? :p
Liddasee
There IS a ballroom, but I didn't see any dancing poles.

And all the chairs looked new. :(

And yea, I remember GM Aelsidhe coming by a few times and making someone hand back over the darts. LOL. You guys are so ornery!

And it was called Hearthstone. =P

Keras, we're talking about a game. GemStone IV. ;) www.play.net/gs4

I played that game for eight years...how long did you play, Wynd? Much longer, I think.
Keras
Wow. $15 a month for a text based game?
Liddasee
Well, the price hike was only in the last two years. Then it was $13, and before that, it was $10 for the entire time they have been on the web. Before THAT, it was free through AoL, though CompuServe still charged for it. Not sure about if Prodigy or GEnie charged. And before THAT, it cost a buttload of money. People used to spend hundreds - thousands - of dollars a month playing this game, because it was pay by the hour. And it was really only the good game out there, LOL.

But yea. I would say, for the most part, the game is good enough to be worth that. But eventually, like every game, it loses interest. But it took me eight years to do that. =P
Pinky
I dunno, maybe like 8-10 years off and on. I started playing back when it was pay per hour on aol and had to ask a GM how to take my armor out of my package and put it on.

edit: aol was pay per hour, game was free

oh and as for the dancing pole, check Plur's room or some of the other "private" rooms. There might be one in there.
pilamar
Wynd just wants to see Sidd on those dancing poles.

course so would I
Liddasee
No, we have red-headed, green-eyed elves for that.

Although, I suppose Casilla (my character), could do a round with her secret lesbian lover, Taedie - who is, a red-headed green-eyed elf.
pilamar
Pinky
Taedie said I get to watch :D
pilamar
Woah Woah.. I wanna watch too!!!
Chimi
How about I watch and then just let you guys know if its OK for you to watch.
pilamar
How bout me, you and wynd just watch and then let everyone else know if it's ok to watch.
Chimi
