Perhaps the most popular mod for large raids
http://www.ctmod.net/downloads.ct
its raid assist, lets you see everyone in the raid and all that and you can do other shit /w it like a main tank function and what not. Who knows, it might help some of you heal and make pallies have an easier time casting blessings or something?
Also, posted before but I don't think anyone bothered with it (I tried it /w my shitty priest and it's fucking great).

Basically, some fruit in the group or raid gets a disease or magic or whatever placed on them, I press the button and it automatically searches for a person /w a certain debuff on them and uses the correct dispell for it so I can delete the dispell magic and abolish disease and whatever other spells. Also, no need to worry about targeting someone (cheating? Blizz doesn't think so!)

I have the CTRaid mod installed, but no one ever uses it. If we try it out sometime and it seems to be really useful to us, we may want to make it a requirement for coming along on raids.
I have not tried that other mod that you mentioned, but that sounds VERY useful. I hate having to target someone to get a debuff off of them (... especially if they aren't in my group and they are feared.... fun fun). I will definitely be downloading and installing that ToNight!

I installed that Decursive mod last night. It is perfect. If you are a class that can cleanse, this is a must have.

I've known about these mods for a quite awhile. Read about them on Conquest forums, thing is... I think macros/mods ruin the game and I am reluctant to use them. I've noticed for us to compete effectively in high end raids we will most likely need them. But doesnt anybody else feel macros/mods like this just make the game boring and easy? :P Would be better imo if none of these existed and everybody competed on the same page, but it is not like that. Anyhow we as a guild will be looking into these programs more and may be mandaratory for some raids.

Hell I thought it was a cheat but Blizz has alrdy stated they're perfectly fine (might change at a future date, who knows?).
Yep, macros ruin the game and obviously such a lazy way of cleansing was clearly not intended but I'm in the "if everyone else is using it..." crowd.
Of course, macros are different for warriors cuz we're shitty and need macros to be able to compete.

Thats why I dont use the mods to cure curses. I seem to do a decent job cleansing those of my party members in MC. If it gets out of hand, I'll look into getting one of these mods.

/target /assist are the only macros i need. well, that and /cast seal, /cast attack. but its not my fault we always have one seal thats 10x useful than the others. if other classes use 1 button for their auto attack, i might as well too :D .

yeah ignore my above comment. decursive is the only way to compete with other guilds that are beating these bosses. its cheap because its doing its job for you, but most of the time doing it on your own just isnt fast enough.

If there was a way to set it up to only target party members, that would be great. But it randomly selects anyone in the raid with a curse, which means I need to be running to them a lot and sometimes finding them isn't all that easy.

problem is is we end up spread out all over the place. so sometimes its hard to get to your party members. also i KNOW that last night we had some people not curing curses like they should have been. so decursive is better because you can just spam it. that way you know that people near you are ok and its easier to take the load if someone else is slacking.

We usually have very balanced groups. Group 1 could always stay near each other or at least close ... group 2 the same ... so on. Except for the people in the group designated to go over to a different location, it would probably cut down on a lot of running around the Mages need to do. Part of the problem with Gehennas was the DPS. If Mages are running around trying to find people, that takes them out of the pictures. By the time we get the entire raid, another curse is on. If we were focused on our groups, it might be a bit easier. It just comes down to organization really and people actually listening other than doing whatever they want. Decursive could be re-made a bit better, thats all. I don't know how many times it selected people no where near me. And it doesn't randomly pick someone else until that person is cured.
