ok so the teacher that im TA'ing for was telling us in class a couple semesters ago about how he used to be a boxer and that one time after his match he went to sit down and watch the main event
and lo and behold who was sitting across the ring from him but none other than chuck norris himself

so the fight is going on and something happens ( i cant remember what cause it was awhile ago that i heard the story :( ) anyways a fight breaks out and people are fighting outside the ring my teacher looks over in time to see good ole chuck try to roundhouse kick someone ...chuck norris then fell on his ass because he slipped while trying to roundhouse kick the dude :lol:

then my teacher went on to explain why most martial artists dont try to do fancy schmancy moves like that when theyre wearing cowboy boots on an arena floor where it might be slippery :shock:

LIES... The teacher musta felt the aftershock of Chuck Norris' roundhouse kick and had his brain scrabbled.

i dont know about that whole student teacher thing from what i know chuck norris studdied a more traditional form of martial arts than jeet kun do  but i could be wrong  :?

for most of the time bruce was alive he did not teach jeet kun do but you are correct chuck studied a more classic style of martial arts but it was still under bruce lee

chuck norris studied Teng Su (oo?) Do.  It's pretty much the street fighting, rough get shit done and beat them up kill you version of Tae Kwon Do, which is much more of a sport than a true martial art.

indeed he did take tang soo du which is a korean kickboxing, he then trained under bruce lee for jeet kune do, and now he just got his blackbelt in brazilian jiu-jitsu.

its tang soo do, i know this, because i studied it for 9 months or so, and my friend has a black belt in it, and altho he may look small....he could whoop like 10 people at once, its pretty cool lol

yeah ur right i just remembered he didnt do that until after he got his back broken

... i dont look small but i could probably woop 10 people at once :)  its a lot easier to fight a crowd than it is 1 or 2 people
