Note. Hundreds of thousands. While Blizzard has several millions. Don't see how this makes them the leader of MMOs

Blizzard = 1 mmorpg
SOE = like 5 or so thats the only way they can justify saying they are #1... they have the most out.

Umm, they never said they are number one. They said they are recognized as a world wide leader. Big difference. They are also developing a MMO on the DC Comics Universe right now and have one of the top DC Comics artists working with them. Probably going to suck though.

there is a reason they say they are recognized as a leader in mmo's and its not because of swg although it might have been because of that in the past its not now ..... its because right now they have 3 mmo's compared to blizzards 1 and while swg only has several hundred thousand people playing im sure even more play eq2 and im sure quite a few still even play eq1 so even if they dont all 3 add up to the ammount of people that blizzard has playing wow they still have 3 mmo's compared to blizzards 1

Would just like to mention that sony online entertainment did have several million customers at the time that EQ was at it's peak. Not that it matters at this point because according to numerous surveys and SOE responses EQ1 still has more customers than EQ2 atm.

lol i know it doesnt add up to the same number of subscriptions eve when u add in matrix online lol but still they have more mmo's out than blizzard /shrug
