Are they going to promote WoW on their site also since that is why people are selling accounts?

its actually a great idea.

if they do it right...

also its more security for people who buy accounts. theres plenty of people eBay scamming with their jedi from SWG. they sell it, let the person play a few months, then they go and contact SOE with their CD key so they can get the account info changed. and then they sell it again.

so once something is sold, SOE knows its sold. and the original owner cant try to scam it back.

plus, theres a surprising amount of people who will pay RL cash for in-game content. there's people out there who make a living off of selling MMO content.
