heard this from sentry, done some reading and sounds like he's right.
Any time a paladin uses his divine shield or blessing of protection in PvP, he loses any tags he has on horde. So if im getting hit by a rogue, use my shield, and another alliance comes along and kills the rogue before i can hit him again, i get absolute 0 credit for the kill. no honor kill, no contribution points. zip.
gay.
edit:
sounds like same thing applies for feign death, vanish, etc.

I kind of agree with that. Especially vanish. Its ridiculous to be fighting a rogue and almost killing him only for him to vanish, gain health, and come back. And then rinse and repeat.

yeah but end game my shield is really the only way to heal myself. even with talents, taking hits hurts our heal cast time BAD. and if someone finishes off my kill before i can hit again, no credit. kinda lame.

I think once battle grounds comes part of this system, this won't be much of an issue since it'll be group PvP. Or at least that is how I'm hoping they turn out.

The majorty of time its not though and it's used as a Rogues "ahh shit, I'm getting my ass kicked." Maybe I'm bitter seeing how a lot of my spells that I used to keep people off me (which is what I have to do to have a chance) is now on some retarded diminishing return.

"My rumor about Paladins has been squashed, damn. On to phase II ... Gungans being a playable race in the next patch!"
Oh sorry, was I thinking out loud again.
