the first person is me, second is my boy bays(who also made the beaT) and the person sitting down is costa, he's on the song too he just wasnt done with his verse



the video was edited entirely with iMovie a program that comes with every new Mac... the effects took me about 20 minutes to do

clean up the audio. remove the sounds of inhaling when the guy rapping takes a breath. just one of the little things that makes it seem more pro

yea... wynd that was just basically a little practice run through, I record using Logic Pro... didn't know you knew about sound editing, whachuknowabout LOGIC PRO MAYNE?!!

fix the balanace, the background "music" is completely out of synch and is overpowered by the sheer volume from the rap/microphone input / you get the idea.  i had to really turn up the volume just so i could hear the bass and shit, and by then, the rap is so loud that there's no point in listening to it at all.  from my pov, at least.

also, white kid rapping needs short hair, and get contacts fool! :D

try just having him pull away from the mic when he inhales. it's a lot easier than trying to edit it out, but it usually takes singers practice to get it down. Record the audio in layers. 1 track with just the beat/music, then play that in headphones for the rapper and have him do a track of the vocals. That way you can edit the vocals and then put them on top of each other. Easier to edit vocals if it's just vocals instead of trying to maintain everything else while just removing vocals.

Also, he should plan where in the song he's gonna inhale so it doesn't sound like he's running out of breath towards the end of a long lyric.
