Its finally over. I'm sure some of you have heard of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival that takes place every year. Its pretty popular not only in the US but world wide. Anyway, just got back from it (its awesome having parents that live 15min away from the venue) and I must say ... this year ... was amazing.
I'm not going to go over every band that played, however ... Nine Inch Nails ... totally blew me out of the water. I have never had the chance to see them live and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Amazing.
If anyone is interested in the entire line up, you can visit their website at coachella.com. Other than that, nothing going on here ... move along.

No, Dave Grohl is back with the Foo Fighters now doing their own thing. Not sure who it was on drums.

they are finishing up their album and are in post production. last time they were on this part he left to tour with QOTSA, so i thought maybe he'd be out drumming again. sick drummer. the recordings dont do him enough justice.

Jeordie White was playing Bass and I love Jeordie White. The guitarist was the guy from Marilyn Manson whos name isn't coming to me right now. They all played very, very well together like they've been together for years. Not a single screw up and Trents voice was amazing seeing how he hasn't sang in such a long time. I think they've had only 3 shows this year to warm up to a live audience. And surprising, their new stuff sounded really good. Something a lot of bands are not being able to do with new albums ... produce good music.

Man I would have loved to be there. I've listened to NIN a long time. Could never really make it to a concert before cause I was either overseas in the military or poorass college student who had to work 40 hours a week and go to school. :(

Grohl isnt the sick drummer everyone makes him out to be, I'm sorry to say.
On the other hand ive seen Nails twice, once with Manson and once with Bowie. Talk about sick shows. Trent really is an amazing artist. hopefully I can see them while they are on this tour.
