So. They caught this guy, you hear?

Haha, turns out, he lived just down the street from where I used to live when I lived in Park City, KS for about a year. Haha. Then my dad lived there, when he wasn't out here in Vegas, for the past few years, only moved like six months ago, so I was always driving by this guy's house whenever we were staying in Kansas.

The guy was always sitting outside, and for years his house looked like shit. He was an asshole - I knew some people who actually moved away because the guy was such a jerk and was always spying on people in a creepy way. Then like a year ago he completely remodeled the outside - got new siding, put in new fences, cleaned up the yard, etc.

This is about the same time that he apparently started to send packets to the newspaper again, leaving hints, etc.

So, ha. The guy must've been expecting media attention, then, huh?

Creepy.

The funny thing about it is, the Park City police department is like right down the street, too, and it was literally 100ft away from my old house, so you know, I never worried about anything. But Jesus. He was hiding in plain sight.

For you guys who don't know, BTK stands for Bind, Torture, Kill...which was how his victums died. He did a bunch of murders in the 70's and 80's, and they think he did a couple in the 90's, too. He would always send clues in the form of letters and packets to police department and newspaper, and even once he sent a tape recording of his own voice. How the hell it took them 30 years to catch him when he WANTED to get caught, I don't know.

Fuckin' insane people out there. :?

I usually follow the news, but lately I've been too busy to do anything (including WoW). So, I have no idea who you're talking about but I'll take it it's a good thing he's caught. All the news I have seen lately is about that Schiavo girl, which is getting old.
