um im pretty sure it was someone in THC that had either virrago or garvas name reserved when the game first came out either that or it was someone in TL can't remember either way it wasn't the real mod. I don't think I ever got banned by garva but virrago banned me a couple times and one perma ban on my main posting acct.
So, SWG has been out for what ... 4 years now or so? And they are just now considering raiding content. Then again, I mean, the joke that was the Corvette came out a while back. Or remember their bright idea of battlegrounds? I remember when 20 scheduled a huge battle and crashed the entire server because the battleground wouldn't support more than 40 people.
The village was the only thing that was actually somewhat enjoyable. Well, doing the quests at least. And they were so damn hard. I remember dragging Seniph along with me helping me with the quests, since Jedi were able to solo everything. Then again, Seniph was also a bad ass and it was funny watching him run around praying he wouldn't die and lose all that force XP, haha.

If you were around for phase 4 of the Aurellian village quests you are familiar with the flavor of this type of event (yes, the Village is being considered as one of the sites for these arenas).
Suppressing these invasions will count as accomplishments towards overall Galactic Achievement Collection system that is being tracked on a per-faction and individual basis. Each achievement helps unlock benefits and access to various items and enhancement for combat and non-combat activities while your faction has ownership over a particular achievement. Achievements may be held for a certain period of time without contestation after which the achievement will be contested for a period of time.

Crafters must all pitch in to build a Mom Cal cruiser. While your faction claims ownership of the Mon-Cal Cruiser achievement all crafters on that side get a “Plus 1 Experiment Point” buff and all officers get access to a new temporary AOE orbital strike ability called “Ion Barrage”

Only available if the Mon-Cal cruiser is currently in the world

If the enemies aren’t defeated in time, the event goes back to the previous wave. Essentially, the enemies must be beaten back all the while they get harder and harder.
Once the final wave of enemy guards is defeated, the boss wave occurs. Once the boss wave is defeated, rewards are distributed among the participants. Some of the rewards that the bosses distribute can be rare items, schematic drops, etc. Also, bosses may drop special “keys” that can be combined with other boss “keys” to kick off even higher level and more rewarding invasion events.
Some invasion arenas might have special objectives such as “defend the prisoners” or “defend the transmitter”. If you were around for phase 4 of the Aurellian village quests you are familiar with the flavor of this type of event (yes, the Village is being considered as one of the sites for these arenas).
Suppressing these invasions will count as accomplishments towards overall Galactic Achievement Collection system that is being tracked on a per-faction and individual basis. Each achievement helps unlock benefits and access to various items and enhancement for combat and non-combat activities while your faction has ownership over a particular achievement. Achievements may be held for a certain period of time without contestation after which the achievement will be contested for a period of time.

Build A Mon-Cal Cruiser

Crafters must all pitch in to build a Mom Cal cruiser. This might be in the form of donated resources, crafted items of certain quality, etc. The side that completes the Mon Cal Cruiser first gets ownership of the “Build Mon-Cal Cruiser” achievement for 1 week. While your faction claims ownership of the Mon-Cal Cruiser achievement all crafters on that side get a “Plus 1 Experiment Point” buff and all officers get access to a new temporary AOE orbital strike ability called “Ion Barrage”

The village was the only thing that was actually somewhat enjoyable. Well, doing the quests at least. And they were so damn hard. I remember dragging Seniph along with me helping me with the quests, since Jedi were able to solo everything. Then again, Seniph was also a bad ass and it was funny watching him run around praying he wouldn't die and lose all that force XP, haha.
Oh man, nothignwas worse than I was out with Amivy, out at the tusken fort and we saw some elite tusken, and he 1 shot killed me from 50m and then dbed at the distance too... Lost liek 800k or so ex that day, then again there were days I would get liek 2mill + .... still fuckign tuskens with their sweet rifles.
I did love runnign aroudn killign all those guys for you too Chimi! I hated leaving PvP to do it... but PvP sucked towards the end, fuckign chron with his killing me. I won't lie he was one of the few people I'd run from. Other than wehn I set him up to die in Theed with Obi and Nexus.

lol yeah we did it with just 3 of us most of the time some times with only 2 people but it was a little slower....the only difference between krayts and the green dragons is the green dragons always drop something correct ? we killed upwards of 50 krayts that time and we got like 14 pearls and only like 7 sets of tissues the rest was all crap like worthless scales and stuff like that
SWG had no loot other than holocrons and DOT weapons. There was no reason to go out and kill big time stuff in that game because all you had was a "chance" to get something. I mean, how many people here would want to waste their time in Naxxramas for a "chance" of something to drop.
