The programs in Office 2007 have been overhauled in many ways. Generally they can make it easier for people to collaborate on documents and to manage information from multiple sources. Excel in particular packs a wallop, with vastly increased number-crunching abilities. The Outlook e-mail program performs noticeably faster searches for tidbits buried in messages

Yeah I'll most likely get a Corporate copy from work. From what I've seen on one of the guy's laptops at work it is a nice system.

I've been so angry at excel at work many many times. There's a hardcoded 64k limit on rows (and something like 16k for columns) which was veeery annoying. I had to secretly work in access office when working with the databases (erm, wellllll over 64k items), which was itself stored in the most stupid format in a legacy software which was about twenty years old... GRRRRR. Excel is evil.

yeah i hated the office spreadsheets but they are useful sometimes when ur in a bind

lol there was this one time where this company i was working for needed like 30 pages of numbers that were supposed to be temperatures taken daily (which they didnt do) and i set it up so that all i had to do was put in one number and it would fill in a whole page with numbers it was pretty effective for such short notice lol
