Well guys, as the title suggests, I am probably going to leave THC and either go solo or join another guild soon.

Before ppl start getting mad, and saying wtf is going on, I will let you all know my reasons so that their is no confusion.

First of all, I have to say that THC was the best guild and video-game community experience I could ever have hoped for. I have made a lot of friends and continue to value the relationships i have in this game. Chron you are the best guild leader I have ever met/seen, and while I have come to this decision, I will always respect you and be there to help you and just have good times. THC made this game the game it is for me, and I will always recognize that , and that it is the guild that made my character what he is today.

That being said, however, ever since the split, I have been in a state of much confusion with the direction of my WoW career. At first I just wanted to quit the game entirely and was initially appauled at the way Drakul handled the OS situation, but of course as always, I got a lil too emotional and took it too personally. I understand why they did it, and I can relate to wanting a guild that gets things done efficiently. I still do not agree with how it was done, but nonetheless, I cant really say how it should have been done, as I know all to well the negative views that leader figures get.

I have already spoke to chron weeks before about the path that THC will undergo in TBC, and he has made it very clear that he will not be leading raids like he used to. I respect that, and understand that completely, but unfortunately for me, a casual guild is not what I desire. As much as I like to have a good time in the game, pvping etc. and even random raids on horde capitals, I am a raider, the content in this game plays a huge part in why I love this game so much. I love to raid, and I love to excell in content and even get phat lewtz from the work that I put into it.

So for the past weeks I havent known what I am going to do, whether it be quitting entirely, or server xfering. I have decided though, that I will keep playing, but in order to have the full experience of the game that I require in order for me to continue to have interest in this game, I need a guild that wants to progress in content.

At this point in time I really have no specific guild or place that i am going, but I thought it would be best that I say my intentions now, so ppl do not feel betrayed when they suddenly see me leave.

I would like to remain in THC and still talk to my friends before I make my final decision, but if you all feel that because of my attitude towards this, I should just leave now, then ok, I wont blame you.

I only hope that you all still want to be friends with me, and even play during the expansion, and hope this doesnt create any sort of ill-feelings.

If you guys have any questions/comments feel free to respond to this, and Ill say as much as I can.

I am truly sorry to those who feel that I am being selfish, but this is a game i pay 15$ a month for, and now with the expansion coming out, and me playing it, that is another good amount of time that I am devoting to playing this game. And in order for me to have the full experience that I want, I am sorry but I feel i need to move on.

Once again, THC, GL to all of you, no one could have asked for a better group of friends and ppl to go throught the content in than all of you.

Forum, I can relate to what you're saying. I was in a guild on Tichondrius that turned into a casual guild and it sucked. So I transferred to the new server Nazjatar and started a guild with 2 other people and its been going great so far. So you have to do what you have to do sometimes to accomodate your play style. It was great playing with you and the rest of the Mages during those glory days.

The fact that HE(chron) wont be leading raids doesnt mean that I wont?

Yeah I dont see what the big deal is, its not like you guys will be forbidden to raid... You should think about your decision and make raiding work here. I would love for the guild to still get shit done in my absence and I think you would better those chances. Might be a lot of hard work involved, but dont tell me you afraid of that

Instances in TBC are 25 man at most from what ive heard so raiding doesnt sound like a hard thing to put together compared to raiding in the past and you know THC will get the job done ... you should stick around for a little while until the TBC raids start up

all the new dungeons in BC are either 5 man or 25 man. It's not about the big raiding 40 mans anymore.
There are 13 new 5 man instances and 5 new 25 man raid instances. A lot of them the dungeon is like 3 wings that are 5 man and they lead up to the 25 man raid instance. So even if Chron isn't leading, Stu and I still need people to 5 man with dammit! What about MY NEEDS?!?!! And I'm sure we can run 25 man instances no problem.

The loot system is changing too. Along with certain boss mobs having their own loot tables, some of the new items will be acquired by a new and improved system. Sometimes when you kill a boss in one of the instances set to Heroic, they drop a Badge of Justice for everyone in the group. You then turn in these tokens for epics.

Damm Forum, dont leave!!! This server is losing its Vets one by one, and it sucks tbh. I know you dont really agree to anything I have done, or said in the past. But really, you werent all that bad. You should stick around. THC will always get shit done, you just gotta be patient and the chance will finally come to you, and the guild.

I know that Stu would lead perfect raids, seeing how I use to troll ur vent back in the day. He knows what he is doing. Give him a chance, and stay!

Raiding wont be easy in TBC, esp the 25man raids. You want a challenge? You wanna get shit done? This is the chance, and the experiance you and THC will get. Stick around on SH.
