Honestly, as far as I know they're being worked on at the same time, and the Hunter work is far more all-encompassing.

Druids are getting their talent trees reviewed -- primarily Feral Combat, but both Restoration and Balance will also be seriously investigated. Hunters, on the other hand, are getting practically every aspect of their class reviewed: talents, dead zone, ranged damage, pets, etc.

It isn't due to CM favoritism. I offer player feedback to the developers, not my own, and in all honesty it's coincidence that Druid and Hunter are up next and those two classes are the ones I tend to field. It is the developers' decision, not ours, regarding their next focus. In all honesty I was fairly surprised myself when I first heard what classes they were focusing on next; the other members of the Community Team gave me looks while in the meeting. :P

In all honesty, class communities differ from one another in tone and method. The Hunter community differs quite a bit from the Druid community, for example. Just because you don't see the Druids making petitions and threatening to crash realms does not mean that there are no issues with the class. I would suggest, if you're still unsure, speaking with a Feral or Balance Druid... if you can find one. :wink:

druids have the worst dps of any class. Its pethetic to see a level 60 druid attempt to farm mobs. We kill one mob in the time it would take a rogue to kill 2-4 mobs. Thats just not right. Then when you explore talents and how they should effect our ability to become more DPS centered you will find that we simply do not.

A ballance speced druid can deal decient damage, but only when their spells critil strike. Unfortantally, this doesnt happen enough for their damage to be considered good. Also hurcaine our 31 talent ballance talent is compleatlly worthless.

A farel speced druid gains about 4-5 more dps then a restoration speced druid when useing farel forms. This is pethetic. We cant even really break 100 dps fully farel speced. Our bear form helps us tank but we run abou 75 dps in bear form. and cat form is only slightlly more powerful, but its so fragle that its a waist of time to us.

druids need to be dps viable for both pve and pvp if they decide to spec that way. Not all of us want to be primary healers.

Whatever they do give to Hunters and Druids should be taken away from Shamans. Anything detriment to Shamans is good. Make Shamans only able to use fist weapons and wear cloth, and make them only able to walk backwards, and tax them 200 gold/hour to exist. If they can't pay 200g/hour send them to jail, IRL, and deport their families.

In any case, give something to Hunters to stop that terrible sucking noise I hear everytime Muerta and Keras walk past me. :wink:

Holey palies should be able to be almost able to be primary healers if geared right IMO.

Protection palies should be almost able to tank extreamlly well.

Retrubution palies should be the ones with dps. And a lot of them do pretty good with the right gear.

dont get me wrong though, palies do need a dps buff. also hammer of justice should have a smaller cooldown.

Thats how it SHOULD work. Check out our talent trees sometime, it doesn't really do anything much to help us specialize.
